Jan Heweliusz (Johannes Hevelius, Johann Hevel, Hewelcke) (1611 Gdańsk - 1687 tamże), astronom, wynalazca, browarnik i radny miasta Gdańska. Portret mężczyzny do pasa, 3/4 w prawo, stojący za balustradą, o którą wsparty pr. ręką. U dołu sześciowierszowy napis w jęz. łac.: Contemplare Tirum, qui coeli sidera primus / Que vidit... patria nobile sidus humi. Podpisany: Johannes Mochingerus. Poniżej: po l.: Helmick à Iwenhusen pinxit.; po pr.: Jerem. Falck sculpsit.
