Abstract:

This monograph presents chosen aspects of the right to a fair trial. In the first chapter a content and guarantees of this right in the context of the national and international standards, incl. the EU law are analyzed. Afterwards the regulation of the legal aid system in Poland is presented, with the focus on the system of free legal advice and legal representation. The third chapter is dedicated to the access to a court judgement and justification as an element of the right to a fair trial, esp. in the context of implementation of the new technologies
