Wydział Prawa, Administracji i Ekonomii Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego N2 - The abandonment of deterministic models in favor of probabilistic models that use stochastic processes is the essence of the actuarial analysis of life insurance policies with extended insurance risk which is presented in the monograph. The reason is the necessityto include the dynamic approach that takes into account both random conditions that result from the option activation process, and its impact on the financial aspect of risk. Thus, the extended risk in life insurance was analyzed in its two aspects: risk related to the insured object and financial risk. The former is associated with the estimation of the probability of various events occurring throughout human life; in this respect the earlier variants of approaches to modeling and analysis of insurance of varying life events have been adapted. The latter, on the other hand, is associated with the correct valuation of cash flows and calculations made by the insurer in terms of insurance premiums and mathematical provisions, the risk process, and the loss ratio of the portfolio, all taking into account the increased risk aspect. As the idea behind the monograph was to illustrate the mathematically quite difficult actuarial and financial side of multi-options insurance, the obtained theoretical results were supplemented in each chapter with examples of both traditional insurance policies and their multi-option variants.
