 abstract={The monograph concerns the activities of economic administration bodies undertaken against public entrepreneurs, which refer to two criteria - economic efficiency and effectiveness. The main research objectives of the study include the indication of the relationship between these criteria. An important issue is to isolate the dependencies in their mutual interaction and to mark the place of their occurrence. The differences in the essence of the title criteria were emphasized, as well as the common effects of their reference to public entrepreneurs. The second main research goal of this monograph is also to show the fields in which the title criteria are expressed or influence on the exercise of competences of economic administration bodies towards public entrepreneurs. The study presents legal instruments that are used to ensure the economic efficiency and effectiveness of the activities of economic administration bodies. Their specificity and influence on the functioning of the economic system of the state were presented.},
